Byran joined Beazley in September 2006 as the Regional Engineering Manager responsible for the development of underwriting for the Engineering Facultative portfolio in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Beazley, Byran was with GE Insurance Solutions for 4 years in a similar capacity. Previously, he has worked for Copenhagen Re, Royal Re and Skandia International having responsibilities for various classes of business including facultative and treaty business in the region. He also worked as a civil engineer for two years before embarking on his reinsurance career in 1988.
