Melissa Carmichael appointed Beazley’s Head of US Cyber

Carmichael succeeds Patricia Kocsondy who assumed the role of Beazley’s Head of Global Cyber Digital Risks in January

Beazley, the leading specialist insurer, has today announced the appointment of Melissa Carmichael as Head of US Cyber, effective immediately. Based in New York, Ms Carmichael will report to Paul Bantick, Global Head of Cyber Risks.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Ms Carmichael has a proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams. She joins from Aon, where she most recently held the role of Managing Director, Specialty & Middle Market Leader. Prior to this she spent more than 16 years at Marsh where she went on to become Managing Director, NY FINPRO Practice Leader.
