Decedent shot by a tenant in the apartment complex where he, his wife, their infant son, and her teenage daughters were staying with mother-in-law. After petting his unleashed dogs, the perpetrator fired a shot towards the wife. The husband intervened and was shot to death by the perpetrator in the presence of his wife and children.
