Alison joined Beazley in 2023 as a Claims Manager. She manages nationwide claims for large hospital systems and miscellaneous medical insureds. She spent her entire career defending medical providers in various roles within insurance and law. Most recently, Alison managed claims at a major insurance carrier. Prior to that, she served as a litigator defending Georgia medical providers at two well-respected medical defense litigation law firms in Atlanta. During that time, she represented nurses, mid-level providers, physicians, and hospitals in medical liability matters in state court and before the state licensing board. Before that, she spent a decade at one of the country's leading providers of medical liability insurance, evaluating medical liability claims, assisting underwriters, and advocating for tort reform in Georgia's legislature. She started her career practicing law, defending product liability matters at a small litigation firm. She received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University and her Juris Doctor from Emory University.
