Nick Bidwell is an Environmental Underwriter in Beazley’s Environmental Focus Group, based in Toronto, Canada. Nick’s main interest and expertise is underwriting Beazley’s ECLIPSE (fixed site pollution/pollution legal liability) product for operational sites, brownfield transactions (vendors and purchasers) and developers/redevelopers. Nick also underwrites Beazley’s ENVIRO (contractor’s pollution liability and professional liability) products for contractors, environmental consultants and construction project owners. Nick has a Master of Science degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Bristol, UK. Nick joined Beazley’s Environmental team in June 2017 and has more than 19 years of combined consulting and environmental insurance experience.
