Film – Copyright claim
Our insured, a production company, was served with a lawsuit alleging they copyrighted the claimant’s trademarked slogan. The slogan has a mainstream recognition, and our insured used it in their fictional production. Given there was a potential for protracted litigation, we negotiated a fair settlement. This involved making changes to the script and advertising material. Our swift action ensured all deadlines were met and the premiere was able to proceed as planned.

Email NadiaArtificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models have now evolved to a point where it is difficult to distinguish their output from works created by humans. An author’s style and output can now be impersonated with increasing accuracy in seconds.
