Freddie Marsh

Freddie leads the Global Lawyers Claims Team within the Specialty Risks division of Beazley. Freddie has focussed on complex claims management for over 30 years and has steered many complex, high value Professional Liability claims through litigation or arbitration. He has led or participated in the successful resolution of over 500 large and complex claims against law firms and has personally mediated or directly negotiated well over 100 matters throughout the United States.  After beginning his insurance career in 1988 with a major London underwriting agency, Freddie spent six years working as a Lloyd's broker, initially representing clients on their claims and then later, placing Lawyers Professional Liability risks into the London market.  Immediately prior to joining Beazley in 2002, Freddie was the Head of Claims for a Lloyd's Managing Agent specialising in North American Professional Liability business.  Freddie is also a Graduate of the London Business School’s business programme for Leaders at Lloyd’s and of the Cass Business School.
