Beazley Smart Tracker Syndicate 5623 is the leading follow only capacity strategy in the London market. The syndicate is supported predominantly by third-party capital. With a unique low expense model and selective underwriting appetite, the syndicate has returned a profit to its investors for all closed underwriting years.

What we offer

Beazley Smart Tracker underwrites a highly diversified portfolio of business, targeting the best performing broker facilities, Lloyds consortia and MGAs.

Our underwriting is driven by data & analytics, supported by a detailed actuarial review. As such we will only consider business with high quality data that can support our assessment of potential profitability.

Subject business includes Property, Marine and Energy, Casualty, Cyber and Specialty. We access mostly large commercial risks that are syndicated in the London market through the following distribution routes:

Broker Facilities (multi-line and mono-line)
Consortia (top quartile, with market leading expertise)
MGAs (specialist niches or generally non-London traded business)
Digital Exchange platforms

How we can help

The syndicate will consider any class of business underwritten within Beazley Group except treaty reinsurance and life
Preference for short and medium tail business and less volatile classes
Approved leaders to be agreed
Capacity up to USD 10M per risk (USD 5M critical cat), generally 10% of order
Capacity is deployed across facilities with deliberate consideration to: weighting between territories; balance between short and long tail exposures; natural catastrophe and recession exposures
Capacity offered independently of Beazley core syndicates
